Saturdays Filming

Saturdays filming went well. We decided to film in Bottisham only, because moving from place to place would be very time consuming. We filmed in multiple locations, such as a barn, a church, in woodland areas etc. I am pleased with the footage we got. The tape run out so we ccouldnt film as much as we wanted, but the group decided we can continue on Monday. I have an exam, when we are supposed to be filming, so i will not be able to join my group. If I can it wont be for the whole duration that my group are.

Fridays Lesson

In todays lesson i feel we need to develop a strong understanding of the angles/shots we are going to film on Saturday. It might be a good idea to make a shot list or storyboad so we have a guidline and wont have to ask ourselves what to film next.

Plan For Saturday Filming

On Saturday Sophie has work, but will try to take the day off.
We will meet in town outside the grand arcade at 12.30. From there Angelicas dad will pick us up and drive us to our filming locations, Histon, Bottisham, and Burwell.

What I plan to do in Fridays lesson

In Fridays lesson I plan to talk to my group about what and where we're filming. Hopefully by the end of the day I will have a clear understanding of what we are doing.

Camera Request For The Weekend.

We need to borrow a camera over the weekend because we are shooting in locations we cannot get to this week. On the weekend Angelicas dad will be driving us to the different locations, Histon, Bottisham, and Burwell.

Digipak Compare In My Group

Sophie's Digipak:

I like that Sophie has included pictures of the actor from our test footage. Also how the text works around the images. The next step is to edit it on photoshop, and possibly experiment with effects, and different contrasts.

Test Footage

This is the test footage we got with our actor. We experimented with different shots, and angles. I like the cage, i think it looks really effective.

We Are Filming On Saturday

We now know that we are filming on Saturday, and the weather looks like its going to be fine. 

I am buying a wig from Argos tomorrow for the actor to wear. It is £9.99 which is the cheapest we found.

We are no longer filming in the afternoon. We still plan to film on the weekend. Today i will be working on my digipak.

Here is the digipak I created using Photoshop. I edited the pictures to give it an artistic effect. I am proud of this, and it can be improved where it needs to be in the actual one.

9th Feb - Morning

This morning my group planned what to do today, which was:

10.50-12.20: Plan what/where we are shooting this afternoon

1.05-2.40: Shooting test footage (using trees near art block). Shoot different shot types, to see which work well. Use stills camera to take pics of location.

2.40-4.10: Shoot more test footage if needed. start uploading footage

Her pictures and dresses are in in the style we would like our video. In the top picture she is also got the alice in wonderland theme. For her costume she involves flowers, and leaves which is the nature theme.

9th Feb - Afternoon

Everything went as planned today, and we did all that we planned. We shot test footage behind the art block with Sophie being the performer today. We got a variety of shots such as long shots, pans, and extreme close-ups. Sophie then edited the test footage in the afternoon as me and Angelica had to leave early.

Our next thing to do will be test footage with the Performer, which we plan to do on Thursday.

Storyboard

For todays task me, Angelica, and Sophie were asked to draw a storyboard for 30 seconds of the song. We chose to do from 0:30 to 1:00. We all drew different images and put them on A3. Then me and Sophie went to look at Yasmin's groups storyboard to give feedback, whilst Angelica got feedback from Rob.
